Nerio greatly injured, please pray for him.
I received an email today from a person very close to my good friend and fellow admin at skinyourscreen.com, the humble Nerio, informing me that he has been in a serious car accident and is in critical condition. I don't know the specifics of the accident, nor do I know his exact condition, although it must be grave considering he's in critical condition.
Nerio has been a dear friend, a person of exceptional personal quality and honor since I met him by way of the AstonShell forums. His work has brought him to a distant location, preventing immediate access to him. I call upon our users, readers, and friends of Nerio around the world to pray in faith for Nerio's well-being and speedy recovery. No matter what religion, faith, creed or persuasion you may be, I ask you to call upon your higher powers to watch over and assist our mutual friend since we cannot be there with him.

UPDATE:
I just heard via email from one of Nerio's friends who has been with him at the hospital. He is being transferred from his current location in the middle-east to a hospital in Paris, France. His condition sounds grevious, they hinted that this is indeed life-threatening.
It looks like Nerio and three of his coworkers were driving home from a base and were delayed because of a sandstorm. Visibility was reduced, and as they were driving a military truck hit them from the front. The impact was so forcible that Nerio and one of the coworkers were ejected from the vehicle. The other two co-workers are in the same shape as Nerio. The other ejected coworker died from the accident.
I don't know if Nerio will make it. He's obviously in poor condition after such an astounding trauma. What is utterly miraculous is that he wasn't killed immediately upon ejection. He is still alive, and I hold out hope that he will recover. He has the faith, prayers, and hope of so many kind souls across this beautiful planet. Sincerely, friends, thank your for your expressions of faith and concern for our friend Nerio.
Updates will continue to be made as they are received. When we get a more resolute location for him perhaps we can all put something together for him.
